Accessibility statement

Last updated:

DEXVANE aims to make its website usable by people with different access needs and to follow recognized accessibility practices, including relevant WCAG guidance. Accessibility is considered during design and development, and accessibility checks are performed against relevant WCAG guidance.

What we have built in

  • Skip to content. Each page starts with a "Skip to content" link, so keyboard and screen reader users can go straight to the main content.
  • Keyboard focus. Links, menus, buttons, and form fields show a visible focus indicator when you move through them with a keyboard.
  • Page language. Pages declare their language, so screen readers can read them correctly.
  • Form labels and errors. Form fields have visible labels, required fields are marked, and error messages are linked to their fields and explain how to fix the problem.
  • Reduced motion. If your device is set to reduce motion, the website reduces animations.
  • Tables. Wide tables in guides scroll horizontally inside their own labeled area, which can be reached with the keyboard, instead of making the whole page scroll sideways.
  • Responsive layouts. Pages adapt to different screen sizes, from phones to large desktop screens.

Limitations

Despite our efforts, some parts of the website may not work well for everyone. Linked third-party websites are outside our control. We review the website as it changes and use feedback to improve it.

Report a problem
