Privacy policy

Last updated:

This Privacy Policy explains how DEXVANE ("DEXVANE", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects personal information submitted through this website.

Information you send us

You can send us an inquiry through the form on the contact page. We receive the information you choose to enter:

  • The type of request (project inquiry, urgent website issue, or general question)
  • Your name and work email address
  • Your company name
  • The service you are interested in and the address of your current website
  • For urgent issues, what is happening with your website
  • Optional details: budget range, ideal timeline, whether you have written requirements, and how you heard about us
  • Your message describing your project, issue, or question
  • The page of this website the form was sent from

Before a form can be sent, you confirm that you agree to this Privacy Policy. Please don't include passwords, payment card details, or other sensitive information in the form.

If you email us directly, we receive the information included in your email.

If you message us on Telegram, we receive your Telegram name, username, and the messages you send. When you open a chat from this website, the message field is filled in with a short greeting that names the page you came from. You can edit or delete it before sending. Telegram is a separate service with its own privacy policy.

Technical information

  • Cookies for sessions and form protection. The website sets two technical cookies: a session cookie and a cookie that protects forms against cross-site request forgery. They are needed for the forms to work. The session record kept on our server includes your IP address and your browser's user agent. Session records expire after a period of inactivity.
  • Session storage for the chat invitation. The website keeps a small note in your browser's session storage to remember whether the Telegram chat invitation was shown or closed. It contains no personal information and is deleted when you close the browser tab.
  • Limits on form submissions. Your IP address is used temporarily to limit how often the form can be sent, to prevent spam and abuse. It is not stored with your inquiry.
  • Technical and security logs. The website and its server keep technical logs, such as error records, to keep the website running and secure.
  • Google Analytics. This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, to understand how visitors use the website, for example which pages are viewed and how visitors find it. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies and collects information such as the pages you visit, your approximate location, your device and browser type, and the website that referred you. Google processes this information under its own privacy policy. To learn how Google uses this information, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. You can opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

This website does not use advertising or social media tracking cookies, pixels, or scripts. Apart from Google Analytics, fonts and other files are served from this website, and no third-party advertising or font service is loaded. We don't use this website to sell products or take payments, and we don't run a newsletter or mailing list.

How we use your information

  • To review your inquiry and reply to you
  • To discuss the project or issue you described and to provide services you request
  • To protect the website and its forms against spam, abuse, and security threats
  • To keep records of our business communications

Information is processed to respond to inquiries and provide requested services. Where applicable, processing may also be based on your consent or on legitimate business purposes, such as keeping the website secure. We don't add you to a mailing list because you sent an inquiry.

How inquiries are handled

Each inquiry is saved in the website's database. A text notification with the contents of the inquiry is sent by email to an internal DEXVANE address, so the request can be reviewed and answered. We reply from a DEXVANE email address. The website does not send you automatic emails.

Sharing your information

DEXVANE does not sell personal information.

Information may be accessed by people or service providers who need it to operate the website, process inquiries, provide communications, maintain infrastructure, prevent abuse, or provide requested services, subject to appropriate safeguards. We may also disclose information when required to comply with applicable requirements or to protect our rights and the security of the website.

Infrastructure and service providers may process information in different locations, where applicable.

How long we keep it

Inquiries are kept for 12 months after the last meaningful interaction, unless a longer retention period is required for an ongoing business, contractual, accounting, legal, or dispute-related purpose.

Technical and security logs are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for security, troubleshooting, abuse prevention, and operational purposes, subject to applicable requirements.

Security

DEXVANE uses reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security. For how we handle access on client projects, see Security and data handling.

Your choices and requests

Sending an inquiry is voluntary. You can also contact us by email instead of using the form.

You may contact DEXVANE regarding your personal information, for example to ask what information we have about you or to ask us to correct or delete it. Write to [email protected]. Requests will be handled in accordance with applicable requirements, and we may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
