Website redesign

A new design for the website you already have, with a plan for your content and changed URLs.

Illustration, not live data.

Signs it's time for a redesign.

A redesign makes sense when

  • The site looks dated or no longer reflects the business.
  • It's hard to use on phones and tablets.
  • Your services, brand, or audience have changed.
  • Your team struggles to update pages.
  • Visitors can't easily find what you offer or how to contact you.

Best fit for

  • Small and midsize businesses with a website that no longer fits how they work
  • Companies after a rebrand or a change in services
  • Teams that want to keep the content they have built

Honest about search traffic.

A redesign can affect search traffic, especially when URLs or content change. Redirects for changed URLs reduce the risk, but no one can guarantee rankings.

  • Written scope first

Pages, content to move, exclusions, timeline, and price before work starts.

  • Ownership and access

Ownership and rights to project deliverables are defined in the project agreement. Client-owned accounts and access are used where appropriate.

Project pricing depends on scope.

Starting at $4,000

The starting price covers a redesign of an existing website with up to 5 core pages. Content migration depends on scope. Work outside the included scope is estimated separately in writing. Final price is set in the written scope.

You get a written price before work starts. Changes to scope are agreed in writing first.

What affects the price

  1. Number of pages in the new design
  2. How much content moves, and how much is rewritten
  3. Design depth: adapted templates or fully custom layouts
  4. Staying on the current platform or moving to a new one
  5. Forms and integrations

Questions before you decide.

Will my rankings drop?

No one can guarantee rankings. Changing URLs or content can affect search traffic. Redirects for changed URLs reduce the risk. For a deeper check after launch, see the technical SEO audit.

Can we keep our content?

Yes. Which content moves to the new design, and which is rewritten, is defined in the scope. Copywriting is available if agreed in the scope.

Can you redesign without changing the platform?

Often, yes. Whether the current platform can support the new design is reviewed during discovery and agreed in the scope. Moving the site to a new host is covered by website migration.

How long does a redesign take?

Timeline depends on project scope and requirements. Revision rounds are defined in the project scope.
